BVE 2012: 4HM MADI interfaces

Another great find from the audio team at BVE 2012: cost-effective but powerful MADI boxes from 4HM.

Designed specifically to work with audio in broadcast environments, 4HM's SAM 64 is capable of de-embedding all 16 channels of four separate SDI inputs and converting them into 64 channels of MADI out to be fed into your router.

Once you've got your MADI streams, you can then convert them into balanced and non-balanced AES outputs with the MA64. 4HM are really pushing the cost effectiveness of these solutions, so they're well worth checking out if you're doing broadcast on a budget - there are also a few breakout boxes on the stand that should up the connectivity of any given panel, so you should hopefully be able to pick up something that'll slot into your existing setup.
