Audio Technica's Logan talked our team through the Allen & Heath GLD80 compact digital mixer on their stand over at BVE.

 

As well as having a truly impressive Vegas mode, this digital control surface does all its own processing in-surface, cutting down on the extra hardware you'll need. You can set up your own effects bank and then add effects and EQ to each channel individually via the faders on the surface itself, or simply push as pull waveforms on its touchscreen display to make changes organically on the fly.  If you're after a hands-on solution that helps keep controlling your mix and simple and visual as possible, it's well worth a look.
